Pen and Ink

Tom Boy Tara Book Cover This was a book cover I did with markers, pointillism pen, and white gel pen for ink highlights.	Tom Boy Tara #213 Panel #13 Mixed media, pencil, watercolour pencil crayons, pointillism pen and sparkly gel pen for the swirls.

Pen and ink is one of my favorite traditional methods of art. I often end up converting those images to coloured ones in Photoshop, however.

Memories of Her- Mom Portrait of my mother who passed away from cancer in 2006- Created for "The Sketch Book Project" Gallery Tour in 2011.	Memories of Her- Egg A marble egg- My mom loved faberge eggs and Russian History.	Memories of Her- Sewing Machine My mom took fashion at Sheridan College and loved to sew.
Memories of Her- Wooden Elephant My mom collected elephant sculptures and had one to represent each member of the family, this was mine.	Memories of Her- Gargoyle My mom loved Gargoyles, we bought this together on an outing.	Memories of Her- Hair The hair I cut and donated while my mom was still alive to donate to kids with caner.
Memories of Her- Cane My mom's walking cane to end the sketch book.

Sometimes I like to play with markers. I'm addicted to brush pens. I love my Copic markers, they are beautiful to work with.
