EMILY RAGOZZINO
VISUAL ARTIST/ENTREPENEUR
ABOUT
My art is what some call eclectic. I like to experiment creatively and sometimes use art as a form of therapy or meditation. Though I experiment often, my forte lies in my drawing and graphic abilities, that's where I shine most. I love colour, but black and white is also classy, and the line work I like best is clean, though sometimes I'll play with different contour sizes. I hope you take a look around and enjoy my work.
BIO
Emily Ragozzino
Visual Artist/Entrepeneur
Emily studied Fine Arts for three years at Georgian College in Barrie. In 2007, not long after graduation, Emily moved to Toronto and there began taking part in the art community. She went to comic conventions and published a number of comics and graphic novels. In 2009 she began a webcomic and a series of books, t-shirts and merchandise to go with it. In 2010 she began working for an art store for 3 years, honing her skills, learning what she could while doing art on the side. In 2013 Emily created a traditional board game called "Comix the Board Game" for those who enjoy making sequential art. In 2014 she went back to school at Ryerson University to learn about Makeup Artistry, mainly enjoying the Special FX portion of the course. If you would like to hire Emily she is currently available for freelance work unless you plan on hiring her full time.
